FALSIES VS LASH EXTENSIONS?

In this modern era with a plethora of choices available, humanoids have outdone themselves YET AGAIN with the invention of lash extensions! So that begs the question, for when you decide on your wedding makeup to false lash or not to false lash? THAT is the first world question, and here at FBB we’ve collated the arguments for and against this problem.

THE CASE FOR FALSIES

Budget Friendly: Falsies are infinitely cheaper than extensions. So if you’re a bride on a budget, this is a great option for you!

Budget Friendly: Falsies are infinitely cheaper than extensions. So if you’re a bride on a budget, this is a great option for you!

Low Maintenance: Unlike its competitor you do not need to maintain falsies and can remove them after the wedding’s over.

THE CASE AGAINST FALSIES

Irritation: Some false lashes can cause irritation for the eye whether it’s because of the lash glue used or the lash strips themselves, you DO NOT want Niagra falls pouring from your sockets whilst posing for those wedding pics.

Time-consuming: If you choose to do your own wedding makeup, applying falsies can be struggle city. So plenty of practice is needed until you perfect this elusive art.

THE CASE FOR EYELASH EXTENSION

Lighter: The materials used to make extensions are airy because they are made to closely resemble human hair in both appearance and weight.

Natural looking: Unlike falsies no lash band can be seen, thus providing you with a more natural look.

THE CASE AGAINST EYELASH EXTENSION

Extensions may pull out your real lashes: If you poorly maintain them or if they’re not applied properly.

High maintenance: Applying makeup around them is quite difficult. Not to mention, you have to brush them daily, avoid sleeping on your stomach and rubbing your eyes.

THE VERDICT

Ultimately, the lash choice will depend on your individual circumstance and mindfulness. However, whether you choose to rock the false lash or the extension make sure in advance to do a test run! Who knows, you may end up changing your mind.
